Ann Arbor Rowing Club is committed to making our classes and programs accessible. When possible, we offer financial assistance based on demonstrated need.   Financial assistance may be applied toward Learn to Row/Learn to Scull class fees and/or seasonal open-rowing program fees (spring, summer, fall, winter). Assistance cannot be used for any other AARC-related costs, including regatta participation fees, PBO rack fees or merchandise.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• All financial-need information is kept strictly confidential and is accessible only to members of the Scholarship Committee.

• A new request for financial assistance must be submitted for each season in which support is needed.

• Requests must be made before the start of the class or program. The participant’s personal contribution must also be paid prior to the start date unless special arrangements have been approved by the Scholarship Committee.

• AARC reserves the right to discontinue financial assistance if the rower or sculler does not follow club safety guidelines or comply with club policies and procedures.
