AARC encourages individuals with privately owned sculls (Private Boat Owners, or PBOs) to join the club and participate in its sculling activities. A limited number of PBO rack spaces are available in the AARC boathouse.
 
Rack Administration Process
 
AARC has a structured process for managing rack space in the boathouse.  Space is allocated by a waitlist and members/non-members are assigned equally on a first come-first served basis.  Please refer to the administrative guidelines for complete information  Rack Administration Process & Policy

Access to Coached Sculling Practice & Equipment

PBOs sign up for Open Sweep/Sculling programs to participate in coached sculling or sweep practices or use club sculling equipment. Go to Fees and Registration for more details.

 

AARC endeavors to make rowing accessible to the broad community.  Scholarships are available to those with financial need to support participation.  
AARC is a 501(c)3 organization.  Donations made to AARC may be eligible for tax deduction.  Please check with your tax consultant.
