AARC Membership

Full Member ($25)
As a Full Member of AARC, you will enjoy being connected with a group of unique, fun, and fitness-minded individuals who really love to row! Come join us for another season of hard work, improvement and general fun & camaraderie…Argo is waiting!

AARC is a member-operated, community club. Participation in our programs requires AARC full membership, USRowing membership and program subscription(s).

AARC's annual membership runs from April 1st to March 31st. You must first sign our Full Membership agreement and pay the $25 membership fee. In advance of signing, you may read the AARC Joining Agreement & Rowing Waiver 2024. The membership fee helps to support fixed club expenses including our annual USRowing organizational membership and insurance. Program fees are paid based on the program and season and pay for coaching, equipment, and related expenses.

Membership Benefits

Eligibility to vote for club directors as well as other club actions requiring a vote
May be elected to and serve on the club board of directors
“Member” level access to the club website, including the ability to sign up for programs and to access the club membership directory and club documents.
May race as affiliated with AARC at regattas

Member Expectations

Signing the AARC waiver for participation
Becoming a USRowing member & completing the USRowing waiver
Knowing, following and upholding all Club Rules, including the the Code of Conduct
Knowing, following and upholding safety requirements at all times, including reporting issues and concerns
Paying rowing fees in a timely manner
Participating in the AARC Stewardship Program, designed to spread the club’s essential work among all members. This includes participating in two of the three boathouse work days each year.
