Capital Equipment Task Force
Purpose
In accordance with the mission of AARC to promote the sport of rowing within our community, AARC acquires, manages, and maintains a fleet of rowing shells and other related equipment for use by the organization’s membership. The CETF manages the fleet replacement plan, submits spending requirements to the board for approval, and organizes fleet maintenance under the direction of the Board of Directors.

Scope of Responsibility
- Maintains the master inventory of capital assets (purchase date, models, serial numbers, etc.)
- Annual review of the AARC capital assets.
- Develops, maintains, and monitors a master boat replacement plan
- Develops, maintains, and monitors a master equipment maintenance plan to ensure good working
- order of club assets
- Recommends, procures, and proposes purchase of capital assets to the Board of Directors
- Recommends and executes sale/donation/disposal of assets to the Board of Directors as necessary
- Reviews all major repair needs and recommends type of action to the Board of Directors
- Manages above within the designated budget as assigned by the Board of Directors
Conduct Review Board (CRB)
Purpose
The purpose of the CRB is to ensure that all members of AARC have a safe reporting mechanism for recording any failures of safety, respect, or kindness. CRB will review members' submitted concerns and identify any that violate the club's Code of Conduct. The CRB will review the details of reported incidents and make recommendations for appropriate responses to such incidents. Please see the Code of Conduct for a more detailed description of the review process. To report a conduct-related incident, use the Conduct Incident Report link or a written report, which can be sent to crb@a2crew.com.

Adaptive Rowing Committee
Purpose
Adaptive rowing is a program that provides a space for rowers with physical, intellectual, or other impairments. The program modifies equipment and communication methods to support rowers.
The Adaptive Rowing Committee is responsible for providing instruction as well as competitive and recreational opportunities for rowers with disabilities.

PBO Rack Administration
Purpose
Oversees management of rack spaces for privately owned boats. Implements processes for fair & equitable access to the space resource including annual requirements for space and managing a wait-list.

Purpose
The AARC Social Committee aims to foster a supportive community on and off the water. The committee plans events (happy hours, potlucks) and facilitates ways for club members to get to know each other.
